Grow On at AG Farm: Our mission is to work with adults with disabilities to build community, develop leadership, and encourage relationships. We provide fresh, organically grown produce while using environmentally friendly, sustainable growing practices. Our store (both in person and online) allows our volunteers to develop their creativity, customer service, and marketing skills with our other products that are created at the farm. We believe that everyone, regardless of their abilities, deserves the opportunity to stretch themselves and reach their full potential by offering them fulfilling and challenging work. In our work environment, we hope to inspire and motivate our team members to become more than anyone ever thought possible. Our goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of every customer.
At the farm we currently have three hives, with plans to add a fourth in the spring. Our goal is to provide raw, unfiltered honey for sale in our store. Last fall, 2025, we were able to harvest a small amount of honey that didn't stay on the shelves for long. We look forward to harvesting more in July and October.
BeeScape: Within a 3-mile radius of the farm we are surrounded by hay pastures, mostly to the north (56%), developed land, mostly to the south (36%), and a minor amount of forested land (7%). There is no reported insecticide use on crops within 3-miles of the hives. Grow On at AG Farm is located at the center of the circle.
